Usman Yousuf

Director

A graduate of London Business School, and American University of Sharjah, Usman is a savvy entrepreneur, coach, and angel investor. He is the chairperson and non-executive director of ProPakistani, one of Pakistan’s leading digital news publications. He operates Interactive UAE, an IT services firm in the GCC based out of Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

He co-founded and currently operates The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in Pakistan. He has invested in multiple tech start-ups and is a general partner in K-Cap Ventures in Singapore and S2015 Ventures in Abu Dhabi. As a coach at Euronext and the London Stock Exchange, Usman has traveled across the globe and consulted with over 200 companies on growth strategy, innovation and internationalization, governance, business planning, and how to pitch your equity story to investors.

In his free time, Usman volunteers to run Buraq Space Camp along with his partner, a free-of-cost resident camp where forty of the best and brightest 'cadets' aged 14–16 are selected to spend time to learn experientially about STEM, critical thinking, and how to create impact in Pakistan.

He is a polyglot, a Certified Enterprise Architect, a member of the Association of Enterprise Architects, a member of the Project Management Institute, and an avid education enthusiast who has attended courses at Columbia University, Cambridge, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and the National Defence University in Pakistan.
